Academic Staff Biography
Maryono is a Lecturer in Agribusiness at the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management from IPB University, a Master’s degree in Bioindustry and Agribusiness Administration from National Chiayi University, Taiwan, and a PhD in Agribusiness from the University of Queensland, Australia. He also served as Secretary of the Center for Incubator and Entrepreneurship Development at IPB University. He teaches consumer behaviour, agribusiness value chains, agribusiness finance, planning, and cooperatives.
His research focuses on value chain development, multi-stakeholder partnerships, and smallholder livelihoods. He has led LPDP-funded research on rice value chains and smallholder welfare and contributed to ACIAR projects on stakeholder engagement in agricultural innovation. His international publications examine how partnerships and institutional arrangements improve agribusiness performance and rural livelihoods, supporting inclusive and sustainable food system development in Indonesia.
