Academic Staff Biography

Dwi Rachmina is a senior Lecturer in Agribusiness at the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University, with more than three decades of academic and policy experience. She holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics from IPB University and has served as Head of the Agribusiness Department in 2014 and currently as Secretary of the IPB Academic Senate and Faculty Senate. She teaches agribusiness finance, farm management, and research methodology at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.

Her research focuses on agribusiness finance, production efficiency, price and risk management, and institutional development in food and farming systems. She has led and contributed to national projects on warehouse receipt systems, rice production policy, rural development planning, youth entrepreneurship, and livestock agribusiness. Through extensive publications and applied policy work, she seeks to strengthen financial inclusion, market stability, and the sustainability of Indonesia’s agrifood sector.

Agribusiness finance and farm management

Analyzing credit access, financial behavior, and farm investment decisions that shape productivity and income.

Production efficiency and risk in farming systems

Studying technical efficiency, production risk, and climate and market shocks across crops, livestock, and plantation systems.

Food systems and rural development policy

Evaluating price stabilization, food balance, and rural institutional frameworks for sustainable food security.
