Academic Staff Biography
Netti Tinaprilla is a senior Lecturer in Agribusiness at the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Agricultural Socio-Economics, a Master’s degree in Agribusiness, and a Doctorate in Agricultural Economics from IPB University. She teaches at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, including courses in agribusiness risk, regional policy and development strategy, advanced agribusiness systems, agribusiness marketing, finance, planning, and quantitative business methods. She has also served as an internal auditor and secretary of PKHT, reflecting her strong institutional engagement.
Her research combines agribusiness economics, marketing, risk, and finance with strong empirical orientation. She has published extensively in international and national journals on fertilizer and seed technology adoption, credit and insurance in farming, supply chain efficiency, consumer behaviour, export competitiveness, and COVID-19 impacts on agrifood trade. She is also a certified risk management and brand marketing professional and co-inventor of a digital application for red onion seed farming. Through research and policy-relevant analysis, she aims to improve farm performance, market efficiency, and resilience of Indonesia’s agrifood systems.

Analysing production risk, credit, insurance, and farm profitability to support better financial decision-making and resilience in agribusiness.
Agrifood value chains and market competitiveness
Studying price transmission, marketing channels, and export performance of crops, livestock, and processed food commodities.
Technology adoption and digital agribusiness
Evaluating how mechanisation, seed technology, and digital tools improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability of farming systems.
